As a kid, I read a different version of the Rainbow Fish, where the Rainbow Fish was an actual jerk, and was selfish over his rainbow scales. Anyone would ask him about them, and he'd get all pissed off.

When i was in second grade, we were packing up and getting ready to go home. We had already put our chairs up, and my teacher told me to get a scrap of paper that was under my desk. While i was getting the piece of paper i just thought “this chair is gonna fall on me, isn’t it.” And it did. A heavy metal chair fell on my tiny seven year old body.
